Welcome Home!
Thanks to the Rafter H, Doc Holliday has joined our family!
Checkin' Each Other Out!
Our grandson, Tyler, is definitely going to be a longhorn lover. He and Doc were checking each other out. Neither one was too sure about the other one at first!
Putting in the Miles! We Love our New Little Guy!
Doc Is Growing By Leaps and Bounds
He has just turned 10 months old in this photo. His horns are 19 5/8". He is really going to look sharp when he slicks off this summer!
Hey, Who's on My Back?
Madison is our test driver. She's usually the first one to try 'em out! Well, Doc made it! He's decided he doesn't mind life around here after all. He's cruising along like he's been ready to be a riding steer all his life! Just a good reminder for those of you interested in training a riding steer! These guys are just like kids - they all come with different personalities and require their own special treatment!
15 mths. and Growing!
We have introduced Doc to the Snaffle Bit.
We're planning on training him like we did Rooster, so we've started early!
Doc still seems like a little guy to us, but as I looked back through his photos, he's not so little anymore! Here he's pictured at 21 mths.
The SaddleWork Begins!
The Fun has begun! Doc is officially a Riding Steer!
Wow! Doc has been riding for a couple of months now and is well on his way.
