Trials of Training A Longhorn Riding Steer

Looks like the Hall boys are enjoying themselves!

Lookin' Great!

How About That!

Gayland and Rooster are riding everywhere!  Rooster is acting like an old pro at this.  We're trying out a bit on him instead of using his nose ring.  He seems to be doing really well with it.  We'll keep you updated on how it works.

Bit Update:

Rooster reins very well with a bit. We've recently started riding him with his nosering on occasion.  In parades, he can get a little too quick-stepping with the bit.  The nosering gives a little added "woe" power.

Growing...growing...growing...  Just hangin' around!  What happened to baby Rooster?

Christmas at Ol' Fort Concho 2005

We had a blast!  The boys were a hit with their jingle bells!

Christmas at Ol' Fort Concho 2006

We took the boys to the West Texas Rehab Day Camp again this year and had a blast!  Mac is pictured here with one of the 70 kids who visited camp this year!  What a good sport!
